our story

Eight limbs, one community.

Kindlebreath Yoga Collective is a Portland studio teaching classical Hatha–Raja yoga in a modern, welcoming way — steady postures, honest breathwork and room for every body.

A modern reading of a classical practice.

We teach from the eight limbs: ethical roots first, then asana, breath, concentration and meditation. Classes weave flowing Vinyasa, long-held Hatha postures and quiet sitting, so strength and stillness grow together.

The studio opened on NW Couch Street with one belief — that yoga stays alive when it stays accessible. Mats are free to borrow, beginners are welcomed by name, and nobody is asked to perform.

  • Small classes capped at 18 students
  • Online, in-studio and outdoor sessions
  • Certified organic cotton shop collection
